Grandma Dede's Fabulous Cabin - Brunswick Maine

The concept was a small, stylish energy efficient mother-in-law cabin.  Dede worked with our LEED-certified engineer to design a simple, affordable accessory structure on her daughter's lot in Brunswick.  This will be one of the most energy efficient structures in the state once it's completed (target date Columbus Day 2010).  Most people overlook the fact that the best way to save on energy is to build small. 

The small size of the lot posed some challenges, but we got the structure up in a single day and so far the project has been a roaring success.
